The Bavaria Cruiser 36

The attention to detail and the perfectly selected cabin layout is fun, as is the workmanship. Everything fits, everything fits. The laminated main bulkhead is also pleasing, as is the extremely solid anchoring of the fixtures. This also contributes to the noticeable rigidity of the construction, as does the extremely massive floor pan.

Versatile and spacious, the Farr design is also convincing under sail: it logged a solid six knots at the cross in the test in light wind (see YACHT 23/2010), it was over nine knots with 5 to 6 Beaufort space sheets, whereby the ship was always well controlled. Longer sea stretches can also be covered quickly and effortlessly.
